About
Dr. Zuniga was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Biology and he earned his medical doctorate from The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He then completed his urologic residency at The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and a pediatric urology fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital. He started his career in Phoenix, Arizona, at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and remained there until his recent move to Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands campus. In addition to his clinical work, he was a clinical instructor at Mayo Clinic Scottsdale and Creighton University School of Medicine.
Dr. Zuniga enjoys the entire field of Pediatric Urology with special interests in the evaluation and management of children with kidney stones and hypospadias.
Dr. Zuniga is board certified by the American Board of Urology and holds a Subspecialty Certification in Pediatric Urology.
