Dr. Howard is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and a member of the Arrhythmia and Pacing (Electrophysiology) Service at Texas Children’s Hospital. He specializes in the care of children and young adults with heart rhythm disorders, providing comprehensive evaluation and management across the full spectrum of electrophysiology care.
His clinical interests include catheter ablation for cardiac arrhythmias and the management of cardiac implantable electronic devices, including pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs). At Texas Children’s Hospital, he serves as a leader in the pacing and defibrillator program, implanting a wide range of devices, including leadless pacemakers and cardiac resynchronization therapy devices.
Dr. Howard is actively involved in clinical care and research focused on advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term outcomes of patients with heart rhythm disorders.
