Dr. Valdes is a member of the Arrhythmia and Pacing (Electrophysiology) Service at Texas Children's Hospital. His specific clinical interests include cardiac ablation techniques, the management of cardiac arrhythmias, and the management of patients with pacemakers and defibrillators. His research interests include use of anti-arrhythmic medications during pediatric resuscitation and the use of simulation for teaching fellows, residents and medical students.
