About

Nick Purcell is a doctor of physical therapy with a board certification as a sports clinical specialist. He earned his sports specialty during his residency where he treated professional and collegiate level athletes in soccer, baseball, football, and track. Nick is an adjunct professor at TWU in the medical center where he teaches a course on Musculoskeletal Pathophysiology to doctoral level physical therapy students. As a former baseball and football player he is passionate about treating athletes and offering them the best care possible so they are able to return to their sport at the highest level of competition.

Nick believes in treating his patients with a hands-on approach that involves manual therapy and thoughtful exercise prescription to heal sports and orthopedic injuries while preventing future injury. With his experience in collegiate and professional sports he incorporates sports specific rehabilitation in order to achieve the optimal outcome for each patient. He is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist and enjoys participating in athletic activities such as triathlons, weightlifting, the MS150, and recreational sports.
