Meredith completed her undergraduate education at Drury University majoring in biology with a focus on exercise sport science. She then earned her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT) at the
University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. Meredith had the opportunity to work at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, world renowned for their dedication to interdisciplinary rehabilitation in patients with brain and spinal cord injuries. Additionally, Meredith is certified as a Clinical Brain Injury Specialist through the American Association of Brain Injury Specialists.
Meredith is currently the Clinical Residency and University Specialist at Texas Children's Hospital and provides both administrative and mentoring support to university students and their instructors at the institution. She is also developing the first physical therapy residency program at Texas Children's slated to begin in the fall of 2015. She continues to educate practitioners in the department on her interests of rehabilitation, pediatrics, and treatment techniques for patients with neurological deficits.
