About
Kristi is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist who graduated from the University of North Texas – Denton in 2014. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to serve families of children with speech-language and feeding-swallowing disorders. Kristi has obtained specialized training and education in the areas of pediatric dysphagia, feeding difficulties in children and bilingual speech-language development. Kristi is fluent in Spanish.
Her goal as a speech-language pathologist is to help children establish functional communication and safe and efficient eating patterns. She strongly believes in parent/caregiver collaboration as she has noted optimal progress when the family implements strategies/recommendations into their home environment.
