Personal Statement

I approach each patient from a viewpoint of trying to learn and understand their needs: physical, psychological, and emotional. Additionally, I believe it is important to develop a relationship with the patient and help them actively regulate their own behavior. All interactions with the patient must be tailored to each person and family with respect and empathy.  I  use my knowledge base and along with the patients goals and perceived barriers, work together to develop a  realistic plan of care that will assist the patient towards achieving healthy outcomes.
