About

Claire Switzer PT, DPT completed the Sports Physical Therapy Residency at Texas Children's Hospital in 2020-2021. She grew up playing both school and club volleyball and enjoys coaching young players who love the game as much as she does. Claire attended the University of Oklahoma where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science. After graduating from OU, she attended Texas Woman's University in Houston, TX, where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Outside of work, Claire can be found reading, working out, or nearby at a Tex-Mex restaurant.

Clinical Interests:

Post-concussion, Post-op ACL reconstruction, Volleyball athletes, Ankle and Knee injuries

Research Interests:

Lower extremity injury after concussion, Blood Flow Restriction Training, Sport Specialization, Strength and Conditioning programming
