Personal Statement
“Using both personal and clinical experience, I strive to connect with my patients as complete and complex human beings. Through this connection I aim to reduce their physical and mental suffering.”
About: Chase began his journey into the physical therapy profession after a long history of low back pain resulting in several back surgeries and a diagnosis of complex regional pain syndrome, a chronic pain disorder. After several years in pain, without answers or help from health care providers, Chase took his recovery into his own hands. Eventually, his pain subsided, and he chose to pursue a career that would allow him to help others suffering from complex conditions.
He completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at East Tennessee State University and became a Therapeutic Pain Specialist through Evidence in Motion/Purdue University. Chase is now pursuing his Fellowship in Pain Science to further expand his knowledge of pain and provide evidenced- based care for his patients.
