Dr. Foster is a pediatrician who specializes in the care of children with infectious diseases. She cares for patients with a wide variety of diseases in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. She is a clinician-educator and enjoys teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. She is also the Assistant Medical Director of Infection Control and Prevention at Texas Children’s Hospital. Her areas of focus include the identification and prevention of healthcare-associated infections, especially catheter related bloodstream infections and surgical site infections.

Adhesins and biofilm formation in Staphylococcus aureus device related infections in children
