About
My favorite part of being an Athletic Trainer is watching athletes returning to the field after an injury, especially following a surgery. From my time in the High School setting I learned that communication is key. Communication between the physician and the patient/family, as well as the communication between the patient and their Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist is integral in the long term success of the recovery process.
Prior to working at Texas Children’s Hospital, Brittney worked as a secondary school athletic trainer, spending the last 5 years as the Head Athletic Trainer at Chapel Hill ISD in Tyler, TX.
