Athletic Trainer

School Education Degree Year
University of Texas at Tyler Masters M.Ed Health and Kinesiology 2011
Indiana State University University BS Athletic Training 2009

My favorite part of being an Athletic Trainer is watching athletes returning to the field after an injury, especially following a surgery.  From my time in the High School setting I learned that communication is key.  Communication between the physician and the patient/family, as well as the communication between the patient and their Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist is integral in the long term success of the recovery process.

Prior to working at Texas Children’s Hospital, Brittney worked as a secondary school athletic trainer, spending the last 5 years as the Head Athletic Trainer at Chapel Hill ISD in Tyler, TX.
