Intensive annual training prepares new generation of clinicians for global health service

A new generation of talented physicians, residents and health care professionals participated this summer in Texas Children’s Global Health Pre-Service Training in preparation for long-term clinical placements at network sites in sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. Global Health hosted the annual, month-long intensive training in July for five newly hired Texas Children’s Global Health Corps physicians, six Dr. Kelly DeScioli Global Child Health Pediatrics residents and one Global HOPE (oncology) Pharmacy Fellow.
