Cleats for Kids is a first-of-its-kind initiative in golf that connects PGA TOUR players with young Texas Children’s patients through custom-designed cleats inspired by their artwork. Each signed pair is featured in an online auction, with proceeds supporting patient care, programs and lifesaving research at Texas Children’s.

Junior Clubhouse

In 2026, we are introducing a newly branded "Jr. Clubhouse" to the list of family-friendly activities this year. In addition to putt-putt and other

activities, we are featuring our Orthopedics & Sports Medicine pop up Motion Analysis Lab where families can experience advanced motion capture technology while testing their agility through live onscreen avatars. While the experience feels like a video game, it showcases the same type of technology Texas Children's specialists use to analyze how children move, improve mobility, guide treatment and support young athletes.

Jhett's Story

During his 6-year-long wait in Houston to receive his second heart transplant, Jett had to find a hobby to stay busy and take his mind off the long wait. Now, 17-year-old Jhett plays on his high school golf team and credits golf with getting him through some of the toughest times in his family's lives.

Ceci's Dream

Ceci's dream of becoming a professional golfer was interrupted when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor at eight years old. Her parents chose Texas Children's for her care and thanks to a successful surgery, her dream is in full swing.
