Continuous education is essential to providing the quality medical care that children and adolescents need immediately after an injury occurs and during their recovery. To improve care for all children affected by a traumatic injury, we provide many learning opportunities for pediatric medical professionals.
Trauma care starts in the field, so we offer training exercises for emergency medical services and emergency department professionals. From a mobile simulation vehicle bringing our expertise to fire stations and EMS training stations to simulation exercises that prepare emergency department staff to care for seriously injured children, we’re elevating the standard of trauma care for children throughout the region.
Certification courses
We also frequently offer nationally recognized trauma certification courses, including advanced trauma care for nurses, advanced trauma life support, pediatric trauma across the care continuum and the trauma nursing core course.
