Texas Children's is expanding the Emergency Center at the Medical Center Campus to increase capacity and improve care. Construction is underway through November 2027 and will affect access around West Tower. The Emergency Center will remain open and fully operational during construction.

There are 3 designated free self-parking areas for West Campus. The parking area located just off the westbound feeder road of Interstate 10 (I-10) provides convenient access to the outpatient clinic areas, while the parking area located off Park Row provides convenient access to inpatient areas, including the emergency center. The third parking area is located in the center section and is accessible through both outpatient and inpatient parking areas.
