Baylor cancer researchers are among the recipients of grants from the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research. Dr. Jeremy Schraw, assistant professor of pediatrics – oncology, received a career development award for research on “Integrating Epidemiology and Genomics to Characterize Rare Childhood Tumors.” Dr. Rachel Rau, associate professor of pediatrics – oncology, received an award for research on “High-throughput Sequencing of the Ig loci for Refined Risk Stratification in Pediatric B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.” Dr. Atreyi Dasgupta, instructor of pediatrics – oncology, received an award for research on “Tumor Derived Extracellular Vesicle in Preparation of Lung Metastatic Niche.” Dr. Casey McAtee, assistant professor of pediatrics – hematology and oncology, received an award for research on “Eliminating Abandonment of Pediatric Cancer Therapy in Malawi.”
