Allen named Vice Chair of Research for the Department of Pediatrics

Dr. Carl Allen has been named Vice Chair of Research for the Department of Pediatrics. In this role, he will work with colleagues to optimize the health of children and young adults through research and innovation. He is also a Professor of Pediatrics-Hematology-Oncology; and at Texas Children’s he is the Milton and Allene Nirken Chair in Pediatric Oncology; the Director of Research for Global Hematology-Oncology Pediatric Excellence (HOPE); and Co-Director of both the Histiocytosis and Lymphoma Programs.
