To conduct and collaborate in innovative, evidence driven research to improve pediatric health services locally and nationally. To serve as advocates for the health and well-being of children.

Academic General Pediatrics serves as the supervisory role for the Pediatric residency continuity training program. The Academic General Pediatrics faculty teaches and mentors over 200 trainees, as they learn how to treat patients in a primary care setting.
