Paulette Reed has received a 2026 Clover Award – Individual Recognition, honoring her longstanding commitment to enhancing patient safety through consistent excellence and leadership. This award recognizes individuals who go above and beyond to strengthen safety and reliability across Texas Children’s Hospital.
For 40 years, Paulette has supported children fighting cancer or serious blood disorders and their families through her work at Texas Children’s Cancer & Hematology Center. As manager of patient support services in the outpatient clinic, she leads the team responsible for managing all incoming referrals and patient calls, as well as coordinating complex follow‑up scheduling for infusions and inpatient admissions and procedures.
Throughout her tenure, Paulette has built and sustained a highly skilled and experienced team. Her thoughtful approach to hiring and mentorship, along with an emphasis on thorough training, has helped ensure staff members are well‑prepared to manage the complexities of one of the hospital’s busiest clinical environments.
