We’re proud to recognize the outstanding faculty at Texas Children’s Cancer & Hematology Center who were honored by Baylor College of Medicine on May 21, 2025, for their excellence in patient care and educational leadership.

Anil P. George, MD – Early Career Faculty Award for Excellence in Patient Care

Nmazuo W. Ozuah, MD – Norton Rose Fulbright Faculty Excellence Award for Educational Leadership

These honors reflect years of dedication to compassionate, high-quality care and leadership in clinical education. The Star Award recognizes mid-career faculty with at least six years of service, while the Early Career Award highlights rising leaders with two to six years of clinical excellence. The Norton Rose Fulbright Award celebrates sustained contributions to educational leadership at Baylor.
