Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center Nurse Honored as Nurse Resident of the Year

Congratulations to Isabel Young on being named Texas Children’s Hospital Nurse Resident of the Year! In her first year as a graduate nurse resident, Isabel has led quality improvement projects, conducted chart audits, and played a key role in launching Nurse Led Rounds in Fall 2024. 

Her attention to detail, thoughtful approach and collaborative spirit have earned the trust of patients, families and colleagues. Isabel consistently supports her peers and brings a patient-centered focus to every aspect of care. Her work is helping to strengthen the culture of excellence within the Inpatient Hematology Oncology Center at Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center. Please join us in celebrating this well-deserved recognition.
