Fasipe to chair special hematology group

Dr. Titilope Fasipe, assistant professor of pediatrics – hematology and oncology, was named as the new chair of the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology's (ASPHO) Hemoglobinopathy Special Interest Group. The group promotes collaboration among pediatric hematologists/oncologists who care for children, adolescents and young adults with sickle cell disease and other hemoglobinopathies and serves as a forum for research, advocacy and awareness initiatives.
