Parsons named Beverly and Daniel C. Arnold Endowed Chair for Precision Medicine

Dr. Donald Williams "Will" Parsons has been named the Beverly and Daniel C. Arnold Endowed Chair for Precision Medicine. Dr. Parsons has distinguished himself as an international leader in the field of cancer genomics and the use of precision oncology approaches for the diagnosis and treatment of children with high-risk and relapsed cancers. Research discoveries from his team have provided key insights into cancer genetics and impacted the diagnosis and treatment of both childhood and adult cancer patients. He plays leadership roles in numerous national pediatric cancer organizations including the National Cancer Institute-funded COG and the National Institutes of Health Pediatric Early Phase Clinical Trials Network. He was appointed to be a Member of the National Cancer
Institute's Board of Scientific Counselors in 2024.
