My goals as a Pediatric Endocrinologist are to improve outcomes for all children with endocrine disorders with a specific focus on type 1 diabetes. I hope to contribute to this mission by providing excellent patient care focused on providing access to life-changing diabetes technologies to all of my patients, participating in clinical research aimed at improving performance of and access to diabetes technologies, and providing excellent education to subsequent generations of pediatric endocrine fellows so they, too, can advance the field of caring for pediatric patients with endocrine disorders. Having lived with type 1 diabetes since the age of 9, I aim to use my personal experience to forge meaningful connections with my patients with diabetes and provide holistic care aimed at helping them to live the fullest, healthiest lives possible with diabetes.
