HOUSTON (April 29, 2026) — Texas Children’s Pediatrics is pleased to announced an expansion of its collaborative partnership with Community Health Network (MyCHN) to increase access to high-quality care and support services for patients in Southwest Houston and beyond.
Under the agreement, Texas Children’s will continue to provide all pediatric primary care to patients at the Texas Children’s Pediatrics – Westwood clinic, while MyCHN will assume operational duties, deliver wrap-around services, and continue to provide women’s care, psychiatry, and dental services. Additionally, the organizations are exploring opportunities to extend this partnership model to other community clinics to better serve more patients.
By uniting Texas Children’s world-class clinical experts with MyCHN’s deep community presence, patients will gain access to expanded non-medical services to help them lead healthier lives while continuing their relationships with the Texas Children’s physicians and advanced practice providers they trust.
“We are excited to increase support and better serve our patients by expanding our partnership with MyCHN,” said Dr. Stephanie Marton, medical director of Texas Children’s Pediatrics – Westwood. “Working with the team over the past year has underscored our shared commitment to improving health outcomes and strengthening community-based care. This next phase will allow us to remove more barriers to care and provide additional services that will help our children and families lead healthier lives.”
“Through this partnership, we are not just providing access to high-quality care, we are expanding it for families across the Greater Houston area,” added Dr. Yvette M. Poindexter, Chief Operations and Medical Officer of MyCHN. “By combining our community strength and clinical excellence of Texas Children’s Pediatrics, we are building an integrated model of care for the communities we serve. This is a pivotal step forward in strengthening our mission.”
