[person:personal_statement]
I believe that medicine is, at its core, a collaborative and patient-centered practice. My philosophy of care is grounded in providing individualized, high-quality treatment while truly listening to my patients and their families. I value clear communication and strive to ensure that patients feel heard, understood and actively involved in their care decisions. I see every interaction as an opportunity to build trust and to support not just the patient, but their entire support system, especially during complex or surgical care journeys. I take pride in striving for excellence in everything I do, whether that means performing procedures, managing challenging cases or supporting my colleagues in a team-based environment. I believe that helping others, both patients and coworkers is essential to delivering the best outcomes and maintaining a strong, compassionate health care culture. I am always willing to step in, contribute and volunteer when needed.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy playing soccer, traveling and spending quality time with my family. These experiences help me stay balanced, grounded and connected, allowing me to bring empathy, energy and perspective into my daily practice.
