Carl L. Pohl is a Physician Assistant with the surgical hospitalist team at Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands. After he completed his master of physician assistant studies, Carl then completed a rigorous 1-year pediatric surgery fellowship at Texas Children’s Medical Center where he rotated through its many different world-renowned surgical specialties. Carl then decided to continue his work with The Woodlands campus as a surgical hospitalist where works with the various health care teams there. His role is to ensure surgical patients receive optimal care in all facets of their hospital stay from Emergency Center consultation to the pre- and post-operative environment as well as first assisting in the operating room.
