Anna Eifert evaluates children with speech and language weaknesses, including those with articulation disorders, receptive and/or expressive language delays, apraxia, autism, and preschool stuttering. She works with children through early elementary school and specializes in the birth to 3-years-old population. She provides diagnostic testing and, based on the results, initiates intervention and/or refers to a network of hospital- and community-based speech-language pathologists, audiologists, psychologists, physicians (including ENTs and developmental pediatricians), occupational therapists, and specialized preschools. She works with caregivers to assist in understanding the communication profiles of their children and their critical role in the intervention process. In the 25-plus years she has worked as a speech-language pathologist at Texas Children’s Hospital, she has assisted numerous children in achieving communicative success.
Anna also provides presentations to parents, teachers, and professional organizations in the Houston area regarding preschool speech-language development and disorders. She enjoys sharing her clinical expertise with students, new clinicians, and other medical professionals.
