Dr. Bennett is a pediatric orthopedic spine surgeon at Texas Children's Hospital. Prior to his arrival, he worked as a pediatric spine surgeon at the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters in Virginia.
After earning his medical degree, he completed a research fellowship in pediatric spinal deformity at the Shriners Hospital for Children of Philadelphia. He completed his orthopedic surgery training at Temple University Hospital and then pursued advanced training in pediatric orthopedics with a focus on pediatric spinal deformity at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, where he also served as a clinical instructor in pediatric orthopedics at the Keck School of Medicine of USC.
Dr. Bennett has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. His clinical practice specializes in the nonoperative and operative treatment of complex pediatric spinal deformity and pediatric trauma. In addition, Dr. Bennett serves on the faculty of Baylor College of Medicine as an Associate Professor of Orthopedics.
