Get to know Leah A. Douglas, MD, FAAP
Dr. Douglas is board-certified Pediatrician who specializes in caring for children from birth through age 18.
Originally from Alabama, Dr. Douglas moved to New Orleans, Louisiana in 2009 to complete her training at Louisiana State University. She practiced Pediatric Emergency Medicine for two years before transitioning to Primary Care. Dr. Douglas moved to Austin at the end of 2024 to join the Texas Children's Pediatrics team.
In her spare time, Dr. Douglas enjoys traveling, watching LSU and Saints football, and spending time with her four rescue animals.

I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to my patients. I believe in taking a collaborative approach with my patients and their families. I am thrilled to be a part of Texas Children's, and I look forward to building many new patient relationships here in Austin!
