Get to know Scott D. McKay, MD
Scott McKay is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in sports injury care and arthroscopy. He believes in shared decision making with his patients and their families when developing a customized treatment plan for their particular condition.
He is has given multiple lectures at the state, national, and international level on multiple topics in pediatric orthopaedic surgery. He was one of 3 traveling fellows to South America through the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America (POSNA) in 2017. He is also an active participant on multiple research interest groups in the Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine (PRiSM) society.
He is a certified bilingual health care provider at Texas Children's Hospital (Spanish), and enjoys regular volunteer pediatric orthopaedic service in Latin America.
