Get to know Jorge A. Coss Bu, MD
Dr. Jorge A. Coss-Bu is board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics and is currently appointed Professor of Pediatrics, at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital. He currently serves as Director of Continuing Education for the Division of Critical Care Medicine at Texas Children’s Hospital and previously served as its Director of Research.
Dr. Coss-Bu is a member of multiple medical organizations and professional societies and at a national level serves as a member of committees at the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition and the Society of Pediatric Research. His research interest is the nutrition support and metabolism of critically ill children. He has been leading a research team that has produced over 200 scientific publications including manuscripts, abstracts and book chapters. Dr. Coss-Bu has shared his research work at 150 scientific events and presented more than 200 lectures in the US and worldwide.
