Dr. Allyson Wyatt is a pediatric gastroenterologist that cares for children with general gastrointestinal disorders and specializes in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) – Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Dr. Wyatt practices at Texas Children’s Hospital in The Woodlands and leads a multidisciplinary Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program there in combination with Pediatric IBD Surgery. She sees patients with IBD in a comprehensive IBD Clinic where she creates an individualized and collaborative medical team for every patient. She has a particular interest in the treatment of complex IBD and partners with Pediatric IBD Surgery to provide coordinated surgical and gastrointestinal medical expertise. She enjoys forming trusting and long-lasting relationships with her patients and their families. She strives for close communication between patients and all members of their care team and believes that this is essential in helping patients and families navigate chronic illness. Dr. Wyatt also serves as the Director of Pediatric Gastroenterology in The Woodlands and has been recognized institutionally for her excellence in patient care.
