[person:personal_statement]
As a perinatal and pediatric pathologist, I am interested in providing meaningful information to families during challenging periods of their lives, such as the diagnosis of a child with a chronic illness or the loss of an infant. Furthermore, I have a strong interest in medical education, and I want to help recruit, teach, and retain the newest members of the pathology field.
Intereses Clinicos
My clinical interests involve active participation in multidisciplinary teams to optimize the delivery of care to our patients.

Research interests
My primary research interests include placenta accreta spectrum disorders, mechanisms and pathology underlying recurrent fetal loss, and placental lesions that portend a risk of poor outcome in neonates. I value the postmortem examination of fetal anomalies and stillbirth. Finally, I enjoy all aspects of pediatric surgical pathology due to the complex interplay between developmental and neoplastic disorders.
