Dr. Patel has been serving as a Neuroradiologist at Texas Children's Hospital and Associate Professor of Radiology at Baylor College of Medicine since December 2021. Dr. Patel is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology with Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Neuroradiology.
Prior to coming to Texas Children’s Hospital, Dr. Patel has served as Neuroradiologist at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston for 7 years. In addition, he has served as a Director of Pediatric Neuroradiology and an Associate Program Director, Neuroradiology Fellowship at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Utilization of advanced and newer neuroimaging techniques such as DTI, MR Perfusion, MR Spectroscopy in diagnosis of brain tumors as well as treatment related changes such as Pseudoresponse, Pseudoprogression and Radiation Necrosis. Imaging in In-Utero Fetoscopic Spina Bifida Repair
