Viviane Jung is a senior speech-language pathologist, lactation counselor, and certified neonatal touch and massage therapist at Texas Children’s Hospital. Her philosophy of care is providing evidence-based and family-centered care in order to empower parents to play an active role in their child’s therapy and habilitation/rehabilitation. Her focus is on encouraging parental involvement through caregiver education and hands-on training to support infant-caregiver bonding in the ICU setting and optimize patient outcomes.
Intereses Clinicos
Feeding and swallowing in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU), specifically, infants with extreme prematurity, cardiac dysfunction, congenital anomalies, CDH, airway disorders, neurological insults, and/or craniofacial anomalies.
Providing holistic interventions through interdisciplinary collaboration to support infant development and optimize preterm neurodevelopmental outcomes.
