As an optometrist, Dr. Karson believes it is her job to do everything in her power to deliver the highest level of care while treating each patient as she would a friend or family member. “I always aim to approach ocular care of pediatric and special-needs patients as a compassionate provider, patient advocate and health care educator in order to provide the best care possible,” she says.
