Get to know Elizabeth "Joy" Jurado, PT, DPT, PCS, CPST
Elizabeth “Joy” Jurado, a physical therapist at Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus, receives fulfillment from empowering her patients to achieve their goals. She enjoys working alongside a collaborative team, including the most important team members — the patient’s families and caregivers.
Joy strives to make a daily impact to improve each patient’s quality of life. She practices a holistic treatment approach and has diverse pediatric experience with patients ranging in age from 32 weeks to 24 years old in the home health, outpatient, inpatient rehab and inpatient level 1 trauma settings.
Joy was certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist from 2015-2017 and is currently certified a Car Passenger Safety Technician.
Joy works at the Woodlands Campus on Mondays and Tuesday. She works at the West Campus on Wednesdays.
