[person:personal_statement]
Growing up, I had the opportunity to learn so much about myself and about working with others through athletic pursuits. Over time, I have learned the importance of exercise as way to promote lifelong health. For my patients, my hope is to help all children and young adults with heart disease find their greatest potential and learn to love active movement as much as I do! Outside of work, I enjoy lifting weights, swimming, running, rooting for the Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Astros, playing guitar and piano, and serving in my faith community.
