The goal of the Bariatric Surgery Program at Texas Children’s Hospital is to promote lifelong health and wellness in adolescents through effective, lasting weight loss.

The Colorectal and Pelvic Health Program at Texas Children’s Hospital is a multidisciplinary, comprehensive program caring for children with congenital or acquired conditions of the colon, rectum, and genitourinary tract.

Our comprehensive approach starts with your first prenatal visit for CDH and continues throughout your child’s delivery, postnatal care and into adolescence — thanks to one of the nation’s leading teams of specialists for the treatment of CDH.

The first of its kind in Houston and the Southwest, Texas Children's Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program offers a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD: including Crohn’s or Crohn disease and ulcerative colitis).

At Texas Children’s Hospital, we treat a wide variety of chest wall abnormalities through our Pectus Program.

Robotic surgery using the da Vinci® Surgical System from Intuitive Surgical allows the pediatric robotic surgeons at Texas Children’s to perform minimally invasive reconstructive procedures in children.

The Surgical Oncology Program at Texas Children’s Hospital provides highly specialized surgical treatment for children with a cancer diagnosis. The surgeons in this program come from a variety of surgical disciplines and are experienced in the surgical treatment of all types of pediatric cancers – from the most common to the extremely rare. They also provide surgical treatment for solid tumors affecting all age groups from infants to young adults.

Texas Children’s Fetal Center® is one of the nation's leaders in the diagnosis and treatment of abnormalities in unborn and newborn infants. As one of only a few centers in the United States providing the full spectrum of fetal therapies, we attract parents from around the world seeking the ultimate in care for their unborn child.

The Thyroid Program at Texas Children’s Hospital is a multidisciplinary program dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of children and young adults with thyroid disease. Our comprehensive team of specialists are experienced in treating the complete range of childhood and adolescence thyroid conditions.

As the only free standing Level I (comprehensive) pediatric trauma center in our region, Texas Children’s Hospital in the medical center provides around-the-clock coverage to evaluate and treat the most severely injured children and adolescents.

The Vascular Anomalies Center at Texas Children’s Hospital is a multidisciplinary group of experts in the field of vascular malformations and vascular tumors from various medical and surgical specialties who work together to evaluate and provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art treatment to patients with these disorders.
