Referrals and fellowship information

Refer a patient

Referrals to developmental pediatrics at Texas Children’s Hospital can be made to the department generally or to the specific clinic that is relevant to your patient. Clinic referrals are made through our online portal.

Fellowship training

Fellowship training for new developmental pediatricians is through Baylor College of Medicine but takes place primarily with the physicians at the Meyer Center for Developmental Pediatrics and Autism. The Developmental-Behavioral Pediatric Fellowship is a 3-year, ACGME-approved fellowship program that provides training in the evaluation and longitudinal management of infants, children and adolescents with a spectrum of neurodevelopmental disabilities and behavior disorders, such as learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, complications of prematurity and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
