Texas Children’s Care Network

Our Vision

To provide seamless, patient-centered healthcare for women and children through integrated clinical care, innovative research, and community engagement. We aim to empower every woman and child to achieve their fullest potential by fostering strong community partnerships and delivering compassionate, cutting-edge healthcare solutions.

What is a Clinically Integrated Network?

Texas Children’s Care Network (TCCN) coordinates patient care across the healthcare ecosystem. Physician-led and managed, TCCN provides members with tools to establish and meet the highest quality standards. It empowers each provider to collaborate within the network, focused on providing the improved outcomes to patients and families, while remaining independent.

What Does Texas Children’s CIN Program Offer Physicians?

Texas Children’s TCCN Program provides members with a formal collaboration among a diverse group of healthcare providers, including hospitals, physicians, advance practice providers, specialists and other healthcare organizations. The primary goal of a TCCN is to enhance patient care by improving coordination, quality and efficiency while reducing unnecessary costs.

By creating processes that improve coordination and reduce costs, the Texas Children’s Care Network seeks to streamline patient care across settings and disciplines, enhancing integration, quality and safety in patient care, especially for patients with complex and chronic conditions. The goal is to improve the overall patient and provider experience, improve outcomes and reduce the cost of care, while allowing each practice to remain and operate independent.

Contracting

TCCN providers may choose to participate jointly in contracts with payers and employers that are based on quality performance and outcomes of the entire group. The Texas Children’s Care Network allows Texas Children’s to negotiate contracts with health plans and employers that return enhanced value to each practice — both in terms of quality-adjusted and pay-for-performance incentives, and fee-for-service contracts.
