Are you a parent or a caregiver of a child with a disability and want more information about Special Education services in the local school systems?
If so, you should consider attending an upcoming group discussion hosted by a panel of Special Education advocates that includes former educators, parents, social workers and Special Education specialists.
The purpose of the panel is to assist families with finding solutions to barriers and gaining strategies to navigate the Special Education System. Topics discussed will include: ARDs, IEPs, 504s, FBAs, etc.

Target symptoms that may respond to pharmacological intervention are identified, quantified and followed as a function of pharmacological intervention. The clinic provides supervision and consultation to pediatricians, child psychiatrists and mental health professionals working with children.

- Autistic spectrum disorders
- Mood disorders
- Tourette's syndrome
- Psychiatric and psychological symptoms that occur with other medical conditions
Texas Children’s Hospital Child and Adolescent Bipolar Disorders Program is a family-based program using a comprehensive approach in the evaluation and management of children and adolescents with bipolar disorder.
Each patient and their family members will receive a treatment plan including medication management and family therapy focused on education, skill building, communication training, and problem-solving techniques.
Families must first call the Texas Children’s Hospital Behavioral and Development Referral Center at 832-822-1900. Your information and eligibility for the program will be reviewed and evaluated prior to scheduling an appointment.
