Dr. Taylor Kim's research interests include furthering our understanding of immune hematologic disorders, in particular pediatric immune thrombocytopenia (ITP). Dr. Kim is studying genetic risk factors for development of chronic immune thrombocytopenia.

The goal of Dr. Kim's research is to better understand the cause of pediatric immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and to be able to predict an individual patient's clinical course. Dr. Kim's research aims to ultimately improve how pediatric immune thrombocytopenia patients are treated.
