Organ and tissue donation can save and improve the lives of many others. Your decision regarding organ and tissue donation will not affect the quality of your loved one’s medical care.
You may be contacted about the choice to donate your loved one’s organs, and/or tissues, by a LifeGift Coordinator and/or Baylor Eye Bank. LifeGift is the local non-profit organization that supports the organ and tissue donation process in this area. Baylor Eye Bank, which is also known as Lion Eye Bank of Texas, supports the donation of eye tissues.
How much does organ and tissue donation cost?
There is no cost for the organ and/tissue donation process.
