The Family Advocacy Departments at Texas Children’s Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus and Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women are available to assist your child, your family, caregivers and support persons when you have questions, concerns, compliments or suggestions about your experience at the hospital or clinic. Family Advocates are available to assist you in seeking resolution to a complaint or grievance, facilitating effective communication between you and your healthcare team and advocating for your patient rights and responsibilities.
You may contact the Family Advocacy Department at 832-824-1919. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm. After hours, voicemail is available for you to leave a message. If you need immediate assistance in the hospital, please ask to speak with your nurse, charge nurse or nurse manager.
