About
Nicole Melfi is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and former inaugural sports resident at Texas Children's Hospital. She now treats exclusively at the West Campus. She is a recent transfer to Texas after completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Marquette University. She is also a certified athletic trainer, certified strength and conditioning specialist, and holds a certification in the GRASTON technique. Nicole is currently pursuing completion of a manual therapy fellowship.
Nicole believes in incorporating a combination of manual therapy techniques in addition to addressing movement dysfunctions through various exercises for return to daily activities and sport. She is passionate about injury prevention for athletes of all ages with experience from youth to collegiate athletics.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys staying active with recreational softball and volleyball leagues, yoga, and any outdoor activities.
