Practice Update

Texas Children’s Pediatrics Cohan and Masharani will be closing on September 30, 2024. Dr. Caryn Cohan will be retiring with Texas Children’s Pediatrics. On October 1, Dr. Anish Masharani will be relocating to Texas Children’s Pediatrics Missouri City located at 5819 Hwy 6 #300, Missouri City, TX 77459. The last day for in person appointments at Texas Children’s Pediatrics Cohan and Masharani will be August 30 2024. If you currently have an appointment scheduled with Dr. Cohan or Dr. Masharani after August 30 , a member of our team will be reaching out to assist you.

Your child's medical records will continue to be conveniently available throughout the Texas Children's network, and you can be confident that our team will be dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition during this period.

Texas Children's Pediatrics Cohan and Masharani offers a wide range of services for infants, children and adolescents including prenatal counseling; newborn and infant care; adolescent care; treatment of acute and chronic illnesses; minor surgical procedures; emergency care; immunizations; routine developmental, hearing and vision screenings; sports, school and camp physicals; preventive medicine counseling; and routine lab work and screenings.

Texas Children's Cohan and Masharani has privileges at Texas Children's Hospital and Texas Children's Pavillion For Women.

Billing and Insurance

Billing Information

Payment for medical services can be made by credit card and is due at the time of service. It is the parent or guardian’s responsibility to pay any deductible, co-pay or co-insurance required by the insurance provider. As a courtesy, our office will file claims with any of our Texas Children’s Pedatrics-contracted insurance plans. Please bring your insurance card to every visit. Prescriptions

Prescription information

Written or electronic prescriptions will be given after a patient has been seen by a physician or nurse practitioner.

Prescription refills

For routine prescription refills, please contact your pharmacy. If your child has no refills available, please contact your child’s Texas Children’s Pediatrics practice.
