Nurse Residency Program
The Nurse Residency program is a six-month program that provides an ongoing, supportive and interactive environment while bridging the gap from nursing school to professional practice.
Nursing Student Placement and Support
Texas Children’s offers clinical and non-clinical learning experiences for those currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or doctoral program of an accredited school of nursing.
The mission of the Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) Integrated Delivery System (IDS) is to create a healthier future for children’s and women throughout our global community by leading in patient care, education and research. Nursing supports this mission through programs and partnerships with schools of nursing from local, state and international levels. Nursing Professional Development (NPD) has established a centralized process for nursing academic and clinical placements for all nursing degrees at TCH. This will include TCH and Non-TCH employees.
