School Nurse Program
Texas Children’s Hospital offers monthly school nursing professional development activities/courses based on feedback from school nurses.
Texas Children’s Hospital actively supports nursing research and its nurses are leaders and clinical collaborators in many ongoing projects.
These programs provide better health care for children of all ages, all over the world.

In March 2018, Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) achieved Magnet® designation for the fourth consecutive time since 2003 by the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®. TCH is one of the less than 9% health care organizations in the United States, to hold this prestigious designation that recognizes excellence for quality patient care, nursing excellence and innovations in professional nursing practice.
